Morton Plant North Bay Hospital SHARE Program to Help Older Adults Focus on Health and Safety

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., (September 30, 2011)-- To engage older adults in taking an active role in managing their health, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is offering free health education and resources to the senior community. Starting in October, SHARE: Seniors Health Awareness Resources and Education health seminars will be held monthly, focusing on interesting and relevant topics for older adults.

The new seminars will include presentations, question and answer sessions, interactive activities and also behind-the-scenes tours of Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. All participants will receive a health binder, educational materials, and health screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol and Body Mass Index (BMI). All seminars will be held at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, 6600 Madison Street, New Port Richey.
