Women's Wellness Day Offers Free Event On Getting Healthy, Looking and Feeling Better|
CLEARWATER, Fla., (January 17, 2011) - A new year can mean a new you. That's the message of the Women's Wellness Day held at Morton Plant's Cheek-Powell Wellness Center. It's a day dedicated to women's wellness providing free health screenings, life-coaching tips, mini massages and more. Women's Wellness Day: New Year - New YOU will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011. The free event runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cheek-Powell Wellness Center located at 455 Pinellas Street in Clearwater.
Tours of the Cheek Powell Wellness Center will be provided and the following lectures will take place:
10 -10:45 a.m.: Creating a Blueprint for Making Changes In Your Life, Elizabeth Nelson, MA, certified Life-Coach
11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Stronger, Floor to Core, JeanMarie Scordino, M, Ed, ACSM, certified Personal Trainer
12 - 12:45 p.m.: Let's Talk Turkey! Fad Diets, What Works What Doesn't, Diana Thornton, RD, LD/N, CDE Registered Dietician
1 - 1:45 p.m.: Preventative Measures to Staying Healthy, Cindy Miller, MD
2 - 2:45 p.m.: Skin Care for the New You, BayCare MedSpa - skin care demonstrations
