Health and Wellness Fair Offers Seniors Health Screenings and Wellness Education For New Year|
CLEARWATER, Fla., January 4, 2011) - A new year can bring a new resolution for good health. Morton Plant Mease and the Aging Well Center of Clearwater offers the Health and Wellness Fair, a fun afternoon of free health screenings, refreshments, giveaways and wellness information to help older adults focus on their health. The Health and Wellness Fair will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Long Center, located at 1501 N. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida.
From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., health information on diabetes, heart disease, cancer, orthopedics, stroke, wound healing, memory disorders and more will be provided and the following free health screenings will take place:
- Blood Pressure
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Prostate Cancer
- Pulmonary Function
- Skin Cancer
- Sleep Disorders
- Vision and Glaucoma
