Dr. Sean Bryan Appointed to Executive Board of Southeast American College of Sports Medicine
CLEARWATER, Fla., (March 5, 2009)--Sean T. Bryan, MD, FAAFP has been appointed to Executive Board of the Southeast American College of Sports Medicine (SEACSM) as the clinical representative. Dr. Bryan will lead development of the clinical track certified medical education program for the 2010 and 2011 annual meetings. He will focus on clinical support to health providers including primary care, orthopaedics, athletic training and physical therapy.
Dr. Bryan is the program director for the University of South Florida-Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Residency Program. The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and is located in the Turley Family Health Center in Clearwater, Florida. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.
SEACSM is the regional chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine. The organization promotes and integrates scientific research, education, and practical applications of sports medicine and exercise science to maintain and enhance physical performance, fitness, health, and quality of life.
