The Orthopedics Program of Morton Plant Mease Health Care integrates pre-operative care and teaching with subspecialty physician expertise, dedicated nursing care and highly specialized rehabilitation specialists to provide a unique patient care experience across the care continuum.
Morton Plant Mease Hospitals performed approximately 9,000 inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgeries a year, including 1,700 total joint surgeries and nearly 1,500 spine surgeries. We have received national recognition for our orthopedic program, and all of our orthopedic surgeons are board-certified or board-eligible.
