Kristopher Hoce - Chief Operating Officer, Morton Plant Hospital

After a national search, Kristopher Hoce was appointed Morton Plant Hospital's chief operating officer in January 2011.

Mr. Hoce has 28 years of experience in health care administration and comes to Morton Plant from Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville, North Carolina. As Pardee's president and chief executive officer, he was responsible for leading the 222-bed community hospital.  

Hoce's professional experience also covers 16 years with Forum Health in the Warren/Youngstown, Ohio area where he began as senior vice president and was subsequently promoted to president and chief executive officer. Hoce is also experienced in the areas of urgent care, home health, orthopedics, oncology, rehabilitation and physician relations.   

Hoce received his educational training from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His professional affiliations include Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives, vice chair, District 1 North Carolina Hospital Association and vice president, Western North Carolina Health Network, as well as local boards and memberships in the Hendersonville area.
